The dish

This is a Portuguese dish done with clams, olive oil, lots of garlic and coriander.

It is very simple and easy to do. It was invented by a Portuguese poet, and it is a work of art.

The feast

The feast was done in honors of the Jewish new year in Mona’s home with Natalia and Miri, good friends from Israel.

Rural Tourism

In Portugal there is a way for farm owners to offer some rooms in their farm houses as  Bed and Breakfast.

These places are usually very beautiful, authentic and full of real Portuguese decorations.

I love the details, and love to capture them.

Here is a photo done in a farm in the Alentejo region.

I like Graffiti

It is an art, and the fact is that this form of art reaches a lot of people, even those who normally would not see or look for art.

The common  denominator of this art is that it is urban, directed at city habitants or visitors. the “canvass” on which the artist paints is not just the wall but the whole environment where the graffiti is painted. When I photograph graffiti I usually look for a specific detail that makes sense to me and stands out and can be framed with the camera.

Here is an example, I call it café.

É uma arte, eo fato é que esta forma de arte atinge muita gente, mesmo aqueles que normalmente não iria ver ou olhar para a arte.

O denominador comum desta arte é que ela é urbana, dirigidas a moradores da cidade ou visitantes. a “tela” em que o artista pinta não é apenas a parede, mas todo o ambiente onde o graffiti é pintado. Quando eu graffiti fotografia eu costumo olhar para um detalhe específico que faz sentido para mim e se destaca e pode ser enquadrado com a câmera.

Aqui está um exemplo, eu chamo-lhe café.

I did the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in 2000

The reasons for doing this were, firstly, to go through this spiritual experience, second to talk to other pilgrimage and to understand why they were doing it, and last was to record the images I saw along the Way.

The End of Endless Doubt

I have been 30 years inside the Church of Scientology and resigned it by sending a letter to the Lisbon Org about 3 years ago.

It is only in the last days that I finally realized that I have been in and out of Doubt conditions for many years.

I remember the first time I heard a tape about the new management, and how Scientology is doing well, and the narrator was supposed to be LRH but I was sure it was not! That was in 1984.

Followed many incidents of strange and off tech Ethics handlings, unwise WISE handlings and arbitrations, and finally out tech on the upper OT levels.

I was declared in 1994 and then did the A to E steps back to good standing.

Three years ago I could not continue anymore to agree with the way things were happening inside the Church.

The last straw for me was The Basics, where DM actually accused LRH of doing a sloppy job of supervising the printing of his books for years.

I wrote my letter of resignation to the DSA Lisbon Org, and that was it.

But it was not!

Per the Doubt formula I got through to step 6 where I announced my decision to the Church but failed to announce it publicly to to the group I decided to remain part of.

This fact hit me a few days ago when I read the data on the site http://www.friendsoflrh.org/ .When I read all the things I observed throughout the years, and the LRH quotes that demonstrate clearly that the actions of DM are suppressive and contrary to LRH intention.

For me this site ( http://www.friendsoflrh.org/ ) clearly gives all what is necessary to complete the first 5 steps of the Doubt formula..

I therefore want to announce publicly:

I have never doubted the Scientology tech or the intention of LRH regarding it.

The doubts I had was on the application of the data by the Church management and the staff that works for it.

I am a Scientologist as I follow as much as I can the teachings and processes of Scientology. I am against the Church of Scientology management and especially DM who I know to be suppressive of LRH Tech, staff and public.

By announcing this I finish step 6 of the Doubt formula, and never to get back into that trap.

I will continue to suffer on up through the conditions, and I hope I can help many of my friends to confront the truth and again live a life of integrity and happiness.

A short list of my friends include all the Scientologists I knew in Tel-Aviv, the ones I met in AOSH EU and FLAG, the ones I met when I had U-MAN and the ones I knew when I had the Trimlines network. I hope you read this announcement and if you have a shadow of a doubt check the site I wrote about above and see all the vast data that is available on the Internet.

O fim da dúvida sem fim

Eu tenho 30 anos dentro da Igreja da Cientologia e resignado-lo enviando uma carta ao Org de Lisboa cerca de três anos atrás.

É só nos últimos dias que eu finalmente percebi que eu tenho dentro e fora das condições de dúvida para muitos anos.

Eu me lembro da primeira vez que ouvi uma fita sobre a nova gestão, e como a Cientologia está indo bem, eo narrador era suposto ser LRH, mas eu tinha certeza que não foi! Isso foi em 1984.

Seguido de muitos incidentes estranhos e fora de manejos tech Ética, imprudente manejos WISE e arbitragens e, finalmente, a tecnologia nos níveis OT superior.

I foi declarado em 1994 e fez de A a E os passos de volta à boa reputação.

Três anos atrás eu não podia mais continuar a concordar com as coisas como estavam acontecendo dentro da Igreja.

A gota d’água para mim foi o básico, onde DM realmente LRH acusado de fazer um trabalho desleixado de supervisionar a impressão de seus livros durante anos.

Eu escrevi a minha carta de demissão ao DSA Lisboa Org, e foi isso.

Mas não era!

Per a fórmula Doubt eu passei para a etapa 6, onde eu anunciei a minha decisão para a Igreja, mas não anunciá-lo publicamente ao grupo que decidiu permanecer parte.

Essa realidade bateu em mim um dias atrás quando eu ler os dados sobre o http://www.friendsoflrh.org/ site. Quando eu li todas as coisas que observei durante o ano, e as citações LRH que demonstram claramente que as ações de DM são supressivas e contrária à intenção LRH.

Para mim, este site (http://www.friendsoflrh.org/) claramente dá tudo o que for necessário para concluir as 5 primeiras etapas da Fórmula dúvida ..

Por isso, quero anunciar publicamente:

Nunca duvidei da tecnologia da Cientologia ou a intenção de LRH a seu respeito.

As dúvidas que eu tinha era sobre a aplicação dos dados pela administração da Igreja e do pessoal que trabalha para ele.

Eu sou um cientologista como eu sigo tanto quanto eu posso os ensinamentos e os processos da Cientologia. Eu sou contra a Igreja de Cientologia de gestão e, especialmente, DM, que sei ser supressiva de LRH Tech, funcionários e público.

Ao anunciar esta terminar a etapa 6 da fórmula da dúvida, e nunca mais voltar a essa armadilha.

Vou continuar a sofrer em cima através das condições, e eu espero que eu possa ajudar a muitos dos meus amigos para enfrentar a verdade e, novamente, viver uma vida de integridade e felicidade.
